Google OAuth Scopes and their uses

  • User Info Email: This scope is used to gather the users email name from the account linked through the OAuth app

  • User Info Profile: This scope is used to see your personal info, including any personal info you've made publicly available

  • YouTube (Read Only): This scope is used to view the name, playlist and any unlisted or published YouTube videos on your account, and any other metadata regarding the asset, allowing our users to be able to search for this information in our search engine.

  • Drive Metadata (Read Only): This scope is used to view all information regarding their Google Drive assets.

  • Drive (Read Only): This scope is used to see and download all the Google Drive assets that you select to sync to our platform.
